Wednesday, August 14

  • Morning Mass at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church
Meet in the lobby of the Sahara hotel at 7 am and head to 7:30 am Mass at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church.
  • Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and Fountains
Come and see the iconic Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens! Each year they do something unique and wonderful – this year’s exhibit features hot air balloons hovering above beautiful fountains and extraordinary flora. We will gather in the lobby of the Sahara at 9:15 am and then head to lunch at Beer Park overlooking the Bellagio fountains. There is no fee for the Conservatory, so the only fees incurred will be the cost of lunch.
  • “The Narrows” Zion National Park Hike
Zion National Park is world-renowned for its unique geographical formations, especially the famous slot canyon called “The Narrows.”  We will target The Narrows for our hike, but it is not 100% possible to guarantee this route. The Narrows can be unpredictable – because of water levels, weather & park shuttle traffic. If we cannot hike The Narrows, there are many excellent alternative routes.
  • Dinner at the Yard House followed by a visit to the High Roller Observation Wheel
Meet in the lobby of the Sahara at 3:45 pm and head for the LINQ Promenade for dinner at the Yard House. At 7:30 pm we will head to the High Roller Observation Wheel – a 30 minute ride to watch the sunset and the city of Las Vegas light up from 550 feet in the air. Join for dinner, the High Roller or both!
  • Foodie Progressive Dinner Tour
Meet some new friends and go on a wandering dinner tour of Fremont Street, trying foods from a number of different locations around town. Cost will depend on what you choose at each location.
  • Atomic Museum
Come and visit the Atomic Museum and learn about the history of atomic weapons development in the United States. The average museum visit takes about an hour and a half. Afterwards the group can go for dinner.

Thursday, August 15 – Solemnity of the Assumption (Holy Day of Obligation)

  • Hoover Dam Tour

  • Mass at the Shrine of the Most Holy Redeemer followed by a visit to the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
Join some friends for 10 am Mass and then head to the Bellagio to check out the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.
  • El Dorado Mine and Ghost Town Tour
One of the greatest true Wild West sites of all time is at the junction of Eldorado Canyon and Colorado River. Because of its remote location, it would become one of the most lawless places throughout the west during the 1800s. For hundreds of years, Indians, Spaniards and early explorers did battle, a military outpost was established and one of Nevada’s richest gold mines discovered.
  • The Sphere Experience: Postcard from Earth
The newest and coolest structure in Las Vegas just opened last Fall. The $2.3 billion structure took 5 years to construct. Inside the interior of this great “ball” is a 160,000 sq. ft. LED screen that wraps around for an incredible show that peaks all your senses! Come and experience it with your amazing NCSC friends!
  • Marriage Can Be Murder Dinner Theater
Marriage Can Be Murder is an award-winning interactive comedy and murder mystery dinner experience where the audience members become part of the show. If you liked the movie “Clue,” then this is a dinner show that you will sink your teeth into. Tickets include dinner and the show.
  • Cabrini Movie Screening
Come and watch the newly released movie about the life of St. Francesca Cabrini!
