You can save money by sharing a room and/or carpooling to the event! Let other attendees know that you would like to share by posting a comment on this page. Be sure to include in the COMMENT section (not only the “Email” section) a way in which other attendees may contact you (email, FB, phone, etc). Otherwise other participants will not be able to reach you regarding sharing a ride/room. Your email address will be visible only to admins if you do not post it in the Comment box as well. Any ride/room arrangements must be made by you, with other participants, as the NCSC staff will not be making them. ALSO, alternatively, once you register for the conference you will be given access to a Google spreadsheet which you can also use to arrange rides from the airport and room-sharing with other registered participants. Once you’ve found a roommate and no longer need your post, please email us through the Contact Us page so we can remove it. (Unfortunately there is no way for you to remove it on your own.)
Folks, please don’t forget to include your e-mail address (or other means of contact) in the COMMENT section. Otherwise only the admins can see your e-mail address and other attendees will be unable to contact you to arrange room or ride share. Thanks!

Many airlines fly to Las Vegas Harry Reid Airport (LAS). It is close (about six miles) to the hotel. Here’s a few airline tips (these are tips, NOT endorsements):
1. Try American if flying from Dallas (DFW), Chicago (ORD), Philadelphia (PHL), Charlotte (CLT), Miami (MIA), Los Angeles (LAX), or Phoenix (PHX). These are hub cities for American. Connections can be made at these hubs.
2. Try Delta if flying from Minneapolis (MSP), Detroit (DTW), Salt Lake City (SLC), Cincinnati (I can’t remember the airport code), or Atlanta (ATL). These are hub cities for Delta. Connections can be made at these hubs.
3. You can take a chance on United if flying from hubs such as Newark (EWG), the DMV area (Dulles – IAD), Denver(DEN), Chicago (ORD), San Francisco (SFO), Houston (IAH), and I don’t know if United took over the Continental hub at Cleveland.
4. Southwest has several flights that go into Las Vegas. Check from LAX, Reagan National (DCA), Baltimore Washington (BWI), Chicago Midway (MDW), Dallas Love Field (DAL), Houston Hobby (HOU), Kansas City (MCI), St. Louis (STL), DEN, Nashville (don’t recall the airport code but Southwest is expanding there), Albuquerque (ABQ), and PHX.
I hope this is a good start for planning purposes. These are tips as a courtesy, and are NOT endorsements. No, these airlines are NOT giving discounts to those flying in for NCSC (believe me, I was asked that a few years back if this was the case). Thank you.
